Privacy Policy

Last updated June 19, 2026

This policy explains what Trail & Heel collects, why it is used, and how to reach out with privacy questions.

Information We Collect

When you contact Trail & Heel, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, location or neighborhood, service interests, dog details, training goals, and any notes you choose to send.

If you upload a dog photo through the contact form or client portal, we collect that image so we can personalize your record and understand who we are talking about.

If you use the client portal, we may store dog records, goals, session reports, homework, uploaded files, vaccine records, invoices, questions, replies, and other information connected to your services.

How We Use Information

We use your information to respond to inquiries, schedule consultations, recommend services, create client and dog records, share homework or reports, show invoices, and provide training support.

We may also use basic website and advertising data to understand which pages and ads lead people to contact us. This helps us improve the website and avoid wasting ad spend.

Photos, Videos, and Uploaded Files

Photos, videos, PDFs, vaccine records, and other uploaded files are used for client records, training context, service planning, and communication with you.

Trail & Heel will not use private client uploads in public marketing without permission.

Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

The website may use cookies, pixels, and similar tools from services such as Google Analytics and Google Ads to measure visits, form submissions, and ad performance.

Your browser may let you block or delete cookies. Blocking cookies may affect some tracking or measurement features, but the main website should still work.

How Information Is Shared

We do not sell personal information.

We may share information with service providers that help run the website, client portal, email delivery, file storage, spam prevention, analytics, advertising measurement, and payment processing. These providers are used only as needed to operate the business.

We may also share information if required by law, to protect the safety of people or dogs, or to respond to a valid legal request.

Payments and Invoices

Invoices and payments may be handled through Stripe. Trail & Heel may show invoice status or payment links in the client portal, but payment details are processed by Stripe.

Data Security and Retention

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information. No website, email system, or storage service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

We keep records for as long as they are useful for client service, business records, legal requirements, or dispute prevention. You may ask us to delete or correct information, and we will respond when we can reasonably do so.

Children

The website and client portal are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Your Choices

You can ask to review, correct, or delete your personal information by contacting Trail & Heel. You can also ask not to receive non-service emails.

Some records may need to be kept for business, legal, safety, or accounting reasons.
